GO2020 | ENGAGE: June Week 4 - ABIDESample
June 24—Be Steadfast and Immovable!
Read
1 Corinthians 15:51-58
Reflect
In the famous resurrection chapter of 1 Corinthians 15, the apostle Paul speaks clearly of the importance of our faith in Christ’s resurrection, how that points to our own resurrection, and to the ultimate victory of Christ over death. These truths are also the motivation for our call to share the gospel and lead others to a life-changing relationship with Jesus. Notice Paul’s charge to God’s people as he comes to the climax concerning the great mystery of our faith: “So then, my dear friends, stand firm and steady. Keep busy always in your work for the Lord, since you know that nothing you do in the Lord's service is ever useless” (verse 58 GNT).
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, Revelation 7:9. Spend a few minutes working to memorize it.

About this Plan
As members of the body of Christ, we are called to finish the race set before us, filled with joy and love, as we give witness to the power of the gospel that changes our lives. God’s kingdom embraces differences that the world sets up as barriers to Christian unity. Especially in these times, it is important for all believers to understand the oneness we have in Christ.
