Cry OutSample

POWER POINT #4
The power of God's love stills the storms in our lives. His promise to those without courage is that he will lead them to their destination when they cry out to him.
Most of us do the best we can in the ways we've been taught. Family traditions, business training, and life experiences strongly shape who we are and how we think. Regardless of our upbringing or professionalism, we are all only one major storm away from becoming shaken and losing our sense of security and direction. We may think we are courageous, but it can melt away in an instant.
Those without courage are bewildered; yet, those who cry out to God in their trouble will be delivered from their distress!
By God's great love, he calms the storm. Where there is turmoil he brings tranquility. Where there is upheaval, the Lord upholds those who enjoy relationship with him. In our weakness, God is made strong and we can trust him to lead us to our divine destination!
PRAYER
Dear Lord, I am frightened and I am confused. God, I cry out to you and I ask you to calm the storm in my life. Place my feet on solid ground and lead me in your ways. I thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love, and I receive your strength to reach my destination. Thank you that I can place my trust in you and that you will guide me. Amen.
About this Plan

God wants to heal and rescue us. His great love has the power to pull us from where we are and place us on the path of promise. In this 7-day devotional, we will look at groups of hurting people that God saves, redeems, and blesses. God's transforming love is as available today as it was centuries ago. He is simply waiting for us to cry out to him.
