Keep His Word And Refrain From Evil.

“I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” Psalms‬ ‭119:100-104‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Choose to refrain from evil. Choose to refrain from ungodly relationships. Choose to submit to God’s Word and depart from evil. Psalms‬ ‭1:1-2‬ ‭NIV‬ declares, “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.” Choose not to align with the wicked or stand in the way of the ungodly. Don’t align with those who sit in the company of scoffers and mockers. Choose to trust Christ and His Way of doing things. Choose to intentionally depart from evil. 

Psalms‬ ‭119:103-104‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” Choose to digest His Word daily. Choose to follow His Principles and Precepts. Choose to reject every false way. Let God light your path. Let His Word be thy shield and your buckler. Let His Word lead you, teach you, and guide you. You were created by God, to obey and follow His Word and Instruction. 

Choose to refrain from those who privately conduct evil. Refrain from those who desire to do evil — don’t let the private indiscretions of the ungodly contaminate the gifts, talents, and abilities that God has placed in you. Stand up when God wants you to stand up. Execute and stand up for what’s right. Let your heart and character reflect the Love of Christ in every season.
