If You Knew The Gift of God

When I met the Samaritan woman, she had no idea who I was. She didn’t realize I was the Gift of God. In Me, she could have answers to her every question. In My words, she could hear the Father’s heart perfectly expressed. And in Me, she could receive the ultimate possession—eternal life. But she did not know Me. Child, do you really know Me, or am I a mere acquaintance? Do you know My heart? Do you know what I love and what I detest? Do you know My words? Have they taken root in your heart and produced works of righteousness, grace, and faith? Are My priorities your priorities? The Father has given you a lifetime of blessings, but His greatest gift to you is Me. I am God’s gift to you.

To go through life without intimacy with Me is to miss the very purpose of your life. I want you to come to know Me more intimately than ever. But that can happen only as you abide in My words and obey them. That is the only way you can truly know the Gift of God.
