There's Hope For TodaySample

We can look to Jesus with hope. As a little boy, I looked to my dad with supreme confidence. No matter where I was or what I was going through, if I could see my dad, I knew that I would be all right.
You see, dad could fix stuff, kill bugs, bait hooks, drive a boat, lift loads, chase strays, buy burgers and shakes and pay the bills. Dad made sure I knew I was special, his only son. He seemed to glow with pride when he would introduce me and I looked up at him with something close to worship. The combination of love, loyalty, confidence, and grace set my dad on a very high pedestal. But there is One higher than the world’s greatest dad. He fixed everything for us for all eternity. There isn’t anything He cannot do, and He loves to work on His children’s behalf. There is no load so heavy that He cannot lift it, no soul so lost that He cannot rescue it, no heart so broken that He cannot mend it.
When we look to Him our faces should be radiant and our hearts joyful, for we are His dearly loved children and He will never stop caring for His own.
