“The Launching Point”
When following Jesus, you may be faced with awkward situations or tough questions. There may be times when you do not have all the answers. Jesus sent out the disciples and although they were worried, they chose to go where Jesus had called them to go.
Just as Jesus sent out the disciples, He sends out each of us to be a light in the world. Although we may be scared to reach out to those around us, He promises that if we acknowledge Him before men, He will acknowledge us before God.
As the disciples did, we must believe that God is worthy of our trust and know that He wants us to make a difference for His glory.
Pray
- Pray that God would help you to become less dependent on material items, and more dependent on Him.
- Do you know someone who needs Jesus? Ask God to give you the courage to reach out to the lost people around you.
