Day 15: Review | Week 2, Value of Life

Check-in: How are you? How was the second week and focusing on the value of life? It can be tough facing life and death, but we are able knowing that Jesus conquered death and gives us life. 

As we review our second week, let us see this 40|50 Project as a movement of Life: honoring life, valuing life and living life. God delights to bring life in place of death and to put His Spirit in His people and bless the land.  

Let’s review Week 2: Value of Life.

Here’s what we explored this week. What has God revealed to you each day?

• Day 9: I Can’t Breathe: Breath is sacred. Life is sacred. Do we value every breath and every life equally as God does? Or do we assign value based on the hue of one’s skin?
• Day 10: Imago Dei: God created us in His image. Racism causes an imaging problem.  Can we see each other in God's Imago Dei?
• Day 11: Abundant Life:   Jesus gives us is the zoe life that is more than enough. How can we partner with this truth of abundant life today?  
• Day 12: Resurrection Life: How does knowing that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life change how we pray during this 40-day fast and prayer? How does it change how we approach racism in our nations?
• Day 13: Truth Sets Free: How has the truth made you free? What have you discovered about your lens since the death of George Floyd? What have you discovered about your nation's lens? 
• Day 14 Speak Life: Can we cry out for our nations, repenting for sins that have led to death? Can we prophesy life and agree with God that He can breathe life into our nations again?
