Day 22: Review | Week 3, Family and Justice

Check-in: How are you? We're halfway through the plan. Congrats! How was the third week and focusing on family and justice? Forgiveness is so crucial to be instruments of justice in our nations, and the Lord is a God of justice. He blesses those who wait on Him (Isaiah 30:18). Things get lighter from here as we turn toward solution and action. 

Let’s review Week 3: Family and Justice

Here’s what we explored this week. What has God revealed to you each day?

• Day 16: Who’s Responsible? Repentance precedes reconciliation, but who needs to repent? God desires national and familial repentance in uprooting racism. Did we repent? 
• Day 17: Our Brother’s Keeper: In addition to God holding us accountable for our national and familial sins, He holds us accountable for our personal sin. Are we repenting? 
• Day 18: Roots: Unrepentant sin in the family and nation still garners judgment years later that affects the whole nation. Did we repent?
• Day 19: God’s Justice: No one gets away with anything. Instead of bitterness and vengeance, we are instructed to overcome evil with good. Are you able to forgive?  
• Day 20: Come to the Garden: As we wrap up this week of family and justice, is there anyone else you need to forgive?
• Day 21: Come to Me: As we purposely carve out space for Sabbath, do we accept Jesus’s invitation to come to Him and rest?
