What an incredible thing it is to have a conversation with God, the creator of everything! It's almost unthinkable that he would want to commune with us, be with us, speak with us. And yet, He delights in it. 

Prayer is on the one hand incredibly simple, it's talking to God. And yet it can also seem extremely complicated. It's complicated because we tend to overcomplicate it. Wondering if we are doing it correctly, or with enough eloquence. Wondering whether God hears our prayers or if they make a difference at all. 

The best place to understand prayer, and to get excited about it is the word of God. So jump into these passages of scripture today and get excited about the wonderful invitation of communion with God. And don't forget that the best way to be prayerful is to pray. Don't overthink it too much, just talk to God about what's on your heart.
