21 Days to Connect: Anchoring Your College Life Week 2Sample

Chances are good that while you may feel more comfortable on campus, there are times when you long for the familiar friends, slower pace, and comfort of home that were a part of your high school days. The writer of Proverbs reminds us that it is not good to look back and think those days were better. Why? Because our best day is today! We can’t live in the past and we can’t live in the future. So thank the Lord for the wisdom to live today in a manner that brings glory to Him. Wisdom protects our life. There are many in college who perish for the lack of it!
“Lord, I thank for you giving me this day to live and breathe and make a difference for your kingdom on my campus. Help me avoid looking back on my previous days as better than today. For whatever today holds, give me the strength to trust in Your goodness, mercy, and grace to get me through it!”

About this Plan

The college years can be an awesome time in a person's life. They can also be a time when believers drift from their faith. The difference is often whether one gets connected to other believers, a campus ministry, and a local church. This plan will help you explore what God's Word says about getting connected on your campus.
