Covenant Keeping GodSample

God Who Heals Relationships
Once again, the Lord performs an astounding miracle. Jacob was certain that disaster awaited him. He dreaded that the worst would happen. As Jacob met Esau, God had totally changed the situation. Esau ran to meet Jacob, embraced him, fell on his neck and kissed him and both of them wept.
This is an incident that brings tears to my eyes, every time I read it. How did this happen? The least I would have expected from Esau would have been a stiff attitude in meeting his deceiving brother. A blood bath is actually what should have happened. But for God ... It is nothing but a sheer miracle to see how Esau behaves towards Jacob.
Not only did the two brothers weep on each other, but I’m sure everyone standing around and watching would have also wept. God was once again glorified. Deep in Jacob’s heart, God was bringing in yet another confirmation. You are no more Jacob the supplanter, but Israel a prince with God. Jacob knew now that his life would take a totally new turn and a new beginning. The fear of Esau was now behind him.
Are you longing for a deep restitution and reconciliation with someone in your own life? Our Lord is able and He is assuring you that just as He reconciled Esau with Jacob. God is ready to do the same in your life. Only, keep your eyes on Him.
Heavenly Father, I pray that You will resolve the broken relationships in my life.
