Safe with Christ

God is our Deliverer, but we cannot be delivered from something if we refuse to admit it is a problem or if we use it as a crutch to control other people. I have heard too many people use “I can’t help it, I’m insecure” as an excuse for not taking action when they should. We will never be free from anything we keep excusing. 

When we receive Jesus as our Savior, it is not merely so we can go to heaven when we die, but so we can live in freedom and victory when we are on earth. Letting God set us free from the past and heal us is one way we glorify His name. We become trophies of His grace! He is an expert at healing the brokenhearted and making the fearful courageous.
