Read Proverbs 16
We make plans all the time. Some plans work out, some fall through. Sometimes we think we have a great plan and it really is great! And other times… not so much. This passage talks about how when we commit to following God’s ways, He establishes our plans. We may plan, but God is the one who plants each step.
Reflect
Have you ever had plans fall through on you? How did you feel?
What does this chapter say happens when we commit our work to the LORD?

What do you think it means that the LORD will establish our steps?
An Extra Mile
Do you have hopes and plans for your life?
Are there some that you need to surrender to God and give Him control of? Pray to Him that He would help you to do this.

About this Plan
Oftentimes life looks like an open road and we aren’t sure which way it will turn. Other times, we feel like we are in control of where we are heading—no need to stop for directions. As believers, we must make sure that our GPS is programmed to the Word. God is our ultimate guide through the journey; He is the Creator of the road itself.
