DIY for the SoulSample

Be still.
This is easier said than done for me. When I wake up, I am already thinking about what needs to be done for the day. This is a good thing at times, but also a curse.
This verse from Psalms always helps me remember the importance of finding time during my day to sit and be still. I’ve found that waking up before the rest of my family and having that time where I’m not working or getting things done around the house is a great time to be thinking about His Word. It makes a difference when I take the time and get into His presence! My desire is that God will overflow my cup into my family and everything else that I do.
I challenge you to take that time each day to slow down, take a break, and be still.

About this Plan

2020 has been an incredibly challenging year. If you're like me, you're exhausted, a little on edge and uncertain about the future. You may look ok on the outside, but how are you doing on the inside? Most importantly, how's your soul? Many of our souls are damaged, neglected or unhealthy. DIY for the Soul focuses on renovating and caring for the most important aspect of our lives, our souls.
