Refined Under PressureSample
Day 07: Standard Operating Procedures
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
Exodus 34:1-35
Reflect
The Ten Commandments reflect God's marching orders for his people, found in Exodus 20:1-17. In this passage, Moses is replacing the original tablets that he broke in anger. How does God describe himself to Moses (v.6)? How did people know that Moses had been spending personal time with God? How often do I spend personal time with God?
Respond
Gracious Father, mighty to save, I pray that you give me the strength to follow you and your commands today. Amen.

About this Plan
Doing hard things gives you extraordinary capabilities. As your character is refined under pressure, it helps shape a clearer picture of your unique place in the world and influences how you serve, lead, and relate to those around you. This plan will take a look at the origins of God’s character through his first dealings with people and how he’s cared for us throughout history.
