The Courageous Leader | Lessons From ElijahSample

Elijah, The Courageous Leader - Part III
Like many courageous leaders, the prophet Elijah was a pioneer. Until Elijah, many had seen God perform amazing miracles, but no one had seen the dead revived.
Elijah had been staying with a gracious widow and her son, when the son unexpectedly died. Few would have ever considered that someone could bring him back to life.
But not Elijah! He took the boy to his room where in 1 Kings 17:21, we read, "Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried to the Lord, 'O Lord my God, let this boy’s life return to him!'" God graciously revived the boy!
Courageous leaders realize that God is capable of anything, and they boldly ask for what seems impossible. God can even save a struggling business.
