Jesus is just days prior to the crucifixion. He makes the journey from the hills of Bethany to Jerusalem, and it is here where multiple Old Testament prophecies are fulfilled. This is critical because audience is Mathew is writing to is of Jewish decent and interpreting these events through a Jewish lens. They would have known these prophecies from studying the scriptures of the prophets, whereby Matthew is showing these readers that Jesus truly is the Messiah. 

Bangladesh is less than .5% evangelical Christian. Let's pray that God would send missionaries to these people, that these workers may travel freely in the land without hindrance, and that the citizens may come to experience the love and justice of our Lord and Savior.
