As we begin to live lives that really matter, lives so full of beauty and passion and risk and impact that we practically leak change everywhere we go, we’ll catch the attention of a world hungry, yearning, searching for meaning, for purpose, for fulfillment, for adventure. And when we do, we’ll trace it all back to the very Revolutionary who taught us what a life that matters really looks like. Jesus Christ will be seen for who He really is: a dynamic Leader whose selfless love drove Him to a cross for me and for you.

When we really know Jesus, we can't help but want to spend our entire lives following Him and telling everyone about this God who demonstrates a wildly unprecedented kind of love. We really couldn’t. 

He was a rebel with a cause worth fighting for. He was a revolutionary whose followers shook up the world. He was a pioneer who turned the religious systems upside down. He was a leader whose life and death and resurrection changed everything for everyone. 

He offended the religious. He shocked the influential. He challenged the wealthy. He questioned the royalty. He shook up the order of the world everyone else had accepted as normal. 

And instead, he hung out with the rejects. He spent time with the prostitutes. He cared for the infected and homeless and needy. He gave leadership roles to the young outcasts. He empowered women to lead in His church. He boasted this wildly unprecedented, different brand of love. 

We are not rallying around a political cause, or a religion, or a brand, or an idea, or a belief system, or a list of rules, or even around a church. We are rallying around the person of Jesus Christ and the movement He started over two thousand years ago with His team of wild, brave teens and twenty-somethings.
