When the Dust SettlesSample

The weather can thwart our best-laid plans. We cannot change or control the weather or the seasonal elements throughout the year.  

The weather changes but God does not. The person of Jesus does not change. The promises of God do not change. The plans of God do not change. 

His plan is to give us a future and hope. His plan has always been to redeem, to seek and save the lost, and to build his Church. The Kingdom of God is on the offensive and the gates of hell will not prevail. Jesus reigns and does not lose heart. He does not grow tired in His love for us.  The plan of God is unshaken. 

Questions: 

Ask yourself: will you be found in a position of surrender when the dust of life settles? 

This week find a moment to pause and reflect on the last time you surrendered yourself to God. Have you surrendered your sins, your complexities, and your plans to Jesus?
