Everyday Life in Revelation: Part 1 the ChristSample

Jesus had a message to the church. To be sure, Jesus loved the church. Jesus died for the church. So it would make sense that He has insight, direction, and affirmations to give the church.
Does this same Jesus love the church today? Does this same Jesus have a message for us today? I would believe that to be true. Yes, He does on both accounts.
Now this begs the question: are we willing to hear from Jesus? What lengths will we go to in order to receive a message from King Jesus?
And once we receive His message, are we willing to change our lives for Jesus. Will we align ourselves to His word and to His command when He shares with us what our attitudes and actions must be in order to live under His dominion and under His authority?
Jesus shared these words in order to bless and chasten His church—then and now. Are we willing to change and to repent in order to live under Jesus’s lordship?

About this Plan

The book of Revelation is not only to be thought of as a blue print for the future. It spoke to the church in John's day. It spoke to the church in Martin Luther's day. And it speaks to the church in our day! Revelation has a message and a meaning not just for tomorrow, but for everyday.
