More Jesus Reading Plan (Season 1)Sample

Recording your thoughts is a great way to reflect on and remember what Jesus is showing you each day. There’s no right (or wrong!) way to journal, but SOAP is one helpful format:
- Scripture: Choose one verse or passage
- Observation: What is it communicating
- Application: How can you apply this to your life
- Prayer: Ask for God’s help to change
Use the 'Talk it over' space (if you're reading with friends) or select a verse and make a Note, then write a phrase or sentence for each. If God is speaking, it's worth writing down!
Reflective Questions:
Genesis 7: What did God see in Noah that He found him “righteous in this generation?”
Genesis 8: What was God’s covenant with Noah, and what does it mean for us?
Luke 4: How did Jesus respond to temptation, and how does that affect the way you respond? In Nazareth, Jesus announced His mission. How does this affect the way you think about the gospel and your mission?
About this Plan

Reading the Bible is about a relationship with Jesus. This plan includes three resources to help; daily readings in the Old and the New Testaments, reflective questions for practical insight, and The Bible Project’s video overviews for contextual insight for each book. This is part 1 of a 6-season plan that will cover the whole Bible once and include a bonus round of Gospels to keep our attention on Jesus.
