Hello Baby, I Love You! Abc's for Young MomsSample
H
is for Help
Ask the Lord for help. Ask others too.
A little S.O.S. prayer right at the moment just to say, “Jesus, I need you” can really make a difference. When we're in the middle of midnight feedings, stinky diapers, dishes that haven't been done, and clothes that need to be washed, we can forget that we aren't meant to do all of this alone. Stop in the moment and ask God for help.
Don't be afraid to seek help...the enemy would want you to be all alone. When we share our fears, our temptations, and our failures we disarm the bomb of those hidden things that can trip us up when we are most vulnerable.
Seek out an older woman before you have your baby. Someone you respect and with whom feel safe. It will be a blessing to you, but it will be a blessing to her as well. Ask her if she would be willing to “be there” for you if you need prayer, to ask for advice, wisdom, or counsel. Ask before you need it so you know she is there. It can make all the difference! It is so surprising to discover that you aren't the only one who has struggled!
READ the SCRIPTURE
May God give you encouragement, wisdom, and understanding.

About this Plan
The early days of parenting can be super exciting and super overwhelming at the same time. Busy from the moment you wake up in the morning (that is if you got any sleep the night before) until you go to bed at night. This plan offers creative and practical encouragement!
