Love God Greatly - EcclesiastesSample

SOAP – Ecclesiastes 3:16-17; Solomon states that on earth he witnessed wickedness and righteousness, but God inevitably will judge the wicked and the righteous. Solomon, in his despair, reasons that we are no different from animals, because both animals and humans die. However, mankind was created in the image of God. Mankind was given dominion over all creatures. Most importantly, Jesus died for mankind’s sin and salvation. Although humans may act like animals at times, we are very special and preferred by God. We will all be judged when Jesus returns and only one choice will determine whether we will be found wicked or righteous. We will be judged as either sinners who rejected God or as sinners saved by the grace of God through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Who we are and the way we choose to live is very important to God.
