7 Attitudes to Enjoy LifeSample

NUMBER YOUR DAYS
"So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom." Psalm 90:12
As you read this verse, you may ask yourself: "But what does the psalmist mean by 'number our days'?" I tell you, He means that each day is important and the time we have here must be well spent.
Luke 12:25 warns us: "And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?" We have a time determined by God on this planet. We can do something to live BETTER - healthy eating and physical activities, for example, that provides a better quality of life - but we can't do anything to live LONGER. The only one who has the power to prolong our lives is our God.
Here are at least two good reasons for you to number your days:
- You can't do anything to live longer.
- You don't know how much time you still have to live.
You must always remember how precious your time on earth is and seek your Creator to live wisely. Today, I leave the invitation: NUMBER YOUR DAYS!
Let's pray? Lord God, You are Almighty and have the world in Your hands. I know that the Lord has given me the precious gift of life and that each day is important. I want to use the time that You give me in the best way, in Your way. Teach me to number my days so that I may get a heart of wisdom. In the name of Jesus, amen.
