Doing Business With God: Building a Successful Kingdom BusinessSample

The Wrong Glasses
Yesterday, we talked about having a failed eye exam, at least as it relates to your past business or ministry endeavors. If you wear glasses, you have been told what your visual acuity is. But regardless of what the deficit is, you don't want to walk around not being able to see as clearly as you can. I (Bergina) can recall a time as a little girl that I began having difficulty seeing, despite wearing glasses. As it turned out, I needed an updated prescription. But simply knowing that I needed a different set of corrective lenses did not fix the problem.
We need to learn how to recognize the need to change and adapt to it. It reminds me of the children of Israel who needed to adjust to where God wanted them to go as they followed a cloud by day and fire by night. Position yourself first to spend time receiving instructions from God, your CEO. When we learn how to see Him clearly and follow his instructions, we are well on our way to developing godly character. We learn trust, patience, and perseverance. We will need this to move forward in the new areas that He is taking us. When this is applied to your Kingdom business, you will have great gain - spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially.

About this Plan

God has created us with the gift of perfect vision, both physically and spiritually. But maybe you feel the vision you had for your business or ministry has died. What do we do with this? We look to the giver of dreams. This devotional takes you through a vision check, helps diagnose vision problems, and provides corrective lenses to see clearly what God has for you.
