Use the prayer below, or write one of your own, to ask God to show you how to create shalom within yourself, your community, and our world.
God, thank you for being a God who desires to see shalom throughout Your world. We acknowledge the many ways in which we’ve contributed to conflict and division, and we ask for Your help in bringing restoration and unity to this earth. God, in parts of the world where I see brokenness, how would You have me be a part of bringing shalom? Remind us of Your presence and Your words when it feels difficult to pursue peace. We ask that You show us new ways to further shalom in ourselves, our communities, and our world. Help us to be patient with ourselves and with others as we seek to bring heaven to earth. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
