Walking With Jesus Sample

Today we will be focusing on Matthew 26: 37- 38.
“He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
Have you ever felt so discouraged, so troubled that your soul was overwhelmed? Maybe it was the death of a parent, a divorce, a bad call from the doctor, or even a circumstance that wasn’t your doing. We've all had situations in our lives where our souls were overwhelmed with sorrow.
Whatever it was, we have an example to follow in our sorrow. Jesus was overwhelmed with sorrow and yet He reached out and went to His friends.
Today’s Scripture: Matthew 26:37-38
Pray. Thank God for his faithfulness, his provision even in tough seasons.
Daily Challenge: Send a text to a friend today and ask how you can be praying for them. Or maybe you can share with a friend something that is causing you sorrow.
