Day 2 Respond to His Voice
God is speaking. Just as He responded to Habakkuk, He is responding to us. On Day one we took some time to cast our cares on God. Many people find it easier to pour out than to receive. Today we will pause and listen for God’s response. Review the complaints and concerns you shared with God on Day 1. Today make space to listen. Listen for God’s voice.
How do you listen for His response? Maybe set a timer and sit quietly to listen for God, or take one or two Bible verses and read them for understanding. Perhaps you want to make a playlist of worship songs and just listen to God’s voice through music. He is speaking to our hearts. Are you making room to listen?
Pray: Lord give me ears to hear You. Give me eyes to see You working.
About this Plan
With the current state of the world it is easy to lose hope. The power of God's voice is a light that gives us vision for dark days. How do you hold onto that light of vision? How do you keep faith in times of hardship? Habakkuk gives us some insight into holding tight and moving forward. God is speaking. God is responding.
