Preparing for EasterSample

The Pool of Bethesda: Do you want to be well?
"Jesus, upon seeing this man lying there and knowing that he had already been in that condition for a long time, said to him, 'Do you want to get well?'” (John 5:6 NASB).
Reflection
- Are you holding on to any sickness, pain, or dysfunction from your past?
- Do you have any behaviors or burdens born out of that sickness, pain, or dysfunction that you carry with you?
- Is Jesus calling you to “get up and walk” so you can be in a closer relationship with Him?
Prayer
Jesus, help me let go of my past sickness, pain, and dysfunction, including (name each one specifically). Please help me to replace compensatory behaviors with behaviors that allow me to walk in your genuine love.
