You Won’t Regret It!

The great news is that although what we give up may seem precious and it may be painful to part with it, the exchange is totally in our favour! In Mark’s gospel, Jesus says that there is no one who has left house or lands or family (and I believe the list is not limited) for His sake, who will not receive a hundredfold IN THIS PRESENT AGE. 

Isn’t God good! However, as far as I’m concerned that’s just the icing on the cake because Christ is the real reward here. He is the crème de la crème. I am 100% confident in promising that anyone who actually forsakes all for Christ will realize that fellowship with Christ Himself is the reward beyond compare. He is all in all. The hundredfold houses will fade to background noise in the glorious light of eternal life in Jesus Christ. 

I exhort us today. Let us shipwreck our boat on the Rock of Jesus Christ and make Him our One Thing!

· Lord, if there be anything in me that is keeping me from making You my One Thing then please remove it from my heart.

Declarations:

· There is no treasure of greater worth than You Jesus! You are worth all that I have and all that I am!

· Jesus You alone are worthy!
