“Alive in Spirit”
In this verse, Peter describes who Christ is. Christ Jesus suffered one time for the sins of many. Think about how many sins that is! He suffered for everyone and He died to save everyone on the Earth from the grasp of sin and bring us back to God. Jesus died in the body, rose from the dead, and gave us his Holy Spirit in order that he can still be with us today. He lives within us. God can now always be with us and we can always access Him because He is alive through the Holy Spirit.
