Take Up Your Cross and Follow JesusSample

The Bride Prepared for Her Bridegroom
We reconcile people back into the marriage covenant/love relationship with God through the cross. This is why we are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Galatians 6:14/ I Corinthians 2:2/ Romans 1:16).
This is our preparation for the day of the marriage supper of the Lamb. The Lamb will reclaim His Bride who has been preparing herself for her husband by not being ashamed of the gospel, but reconciling many to God.
The marriage supper of the Lamb is exclusively for those who have been preparing themselves as the bride for her husband. Once the door to the marriage feast has been shut and we are found unprepared for the Bridegroom, He will tell us, “I do not know you …”. He will disown us on that day when He returns if we disowned Him on earth and were unwilling to joyfully speak about Him and reconcile many into the marriage covenant/love relationship with Him (Luke 13:25-27/ Revelation 19:6-9)
The Bride must also prepare herself by being faithful to her Husband while she is here on earth. You and I have no excuse to continue in sin since He has given us great and precious promises that we can appropriate into our lives by faith in Him. He wants us—as His Bride—to partake of His divine nature as we await His return (II Peter 1:3-4).
Thought to ponder
If the Lord returns today, are you ready to meet Him and will He take you to Himself?
