Reflect
Today’s reading tells us that Joseph of Arimathea was “a respected member of the Council.” Do you think he was present at Jesus’s trial? Why do you think he took responsibility for Jesus’s burial? He is described as one “who was waiting for the coming of the Kingdom of God.” What is your understanding of the Kingdom of God?
Pray
Your kingdom come, O Lord. I love you, Lord Jesus, and promise to serve you always. Amen.
Prayer Concern
Those making funeral arrangements for a loved one
