Stepping Out of DespairSample

Relying On God: David
How do you find your strength in God? David had been waiting over 10 years to be the next king. There was an army that ambushed his people and took many of the wives away. The men who were with David turned against him. At that moment, David made an intentional decision to seek and rely on the Lord. God hears our prayers and provides power, even during times of weakness. God gave strength for the rescue of many lives and also relief in an experience of deep despair.

About this Plan

Despair can creep in right after a major victory, after we are mistreated or betrayed by those closest to us, or if we are running out of patience for something we're excited about. In this series, we'll cover such topics and how to step out of that despair by connecting with Jesus.
