Freedom From Suffering | Read

God often uses pain and suffering to get our attention. The very thing we want to be resolved and fixed is exactly what He can use to draw us towards a relationship. When we reach the end of our own strength and our own capacity, we get desperate enough to look to God and to ask for an intervention. That’s the point where we discover that God wants to give us more than just a miracle. He wants us to find freedom in a life of faith.

An encounter with Jesus always brings restoration and wholeness. Jesus cares about whatever it is that you need right now. Sure, God doesn’t always fix things the way we want Him to, and sometimes His time frame doesn’t match ours. But He always responds to us if we’re game enough to reach out and admit we need something. In fact, Jesus loves bringing a miracle into our most desperate needs.

Desperate Enough To Pray | Pray

Sometimes we don’t discover the powerful reality of God until we are desperate enough to have an honest prayer conversation with God. If you are going through something big right now, if you have a need that is overwhelming, then prayer is the perfect place to start. You can get down on your knees and just let it all out. God always honors it when we share our raw emotions.

If you find it hard to open up to God about how you’re feeling or what you’re going through, then ask Him to show you any fear or shame that is blocking your faith. Ask for His help to face any doubt or anxiety that you might have about trusting Jesus.
