To Bind And To Loose

There is a strongman — I’m obviously talking about Satan — whose objective is to attack you, your marriage, your health, your home, your finances, your children, and your peace with the intent to utterly destroy you. How do you defeat him? Bind him. 

It takes two in agreement to take dominion. You have the keys to the kingdom. You have the power to do two things: to bind or to loose on earth. When you exercise that power, you partner with God and He does the mirror copy of that action in heaven. So when you bind the strongman — the devil — on earth, God binds him in heaven. Don’t let the devil’s army loose in your life. Bind him in Jesus’ name! 

That means if a strongman — a spiritual power or force — enters your house and tries to attack your marriage, your health, your finances, your children, you take the Word of God and the blood of the Cross and the authority of Jesus’ name and you bind him. It’s like taking ropes of steel and wrapping them around him until he cannot breathe. 

You have bound him until he’s totally helpless and harmless to stop you from fulfilling the destiny God has given you to do. All you have to do is mention the name of Jesus. You have power; use it! You have authority; use it! You have dominion; use it! In your finances, in your health, in your emotions, with your children, do not let fear, depression, bitterness, or resentment drive you. Bind it. Kick it out of your house in Jesus’ name. He’s the Lord of your life; act like it!

There are people right now reading this who are waiting for God to do something. But God is saying, “I am not going to do anything until you bind something on earth, then I will bind it in heaven. When you loose something on earth, I will loose it in heaven. The action comes from earth first. Ask Me, and when you speak in Jesus’ name, I will do it.” 

You have not, because you ask not. Stand up! Speak up, church of Jesus Christ. The power is available; turn it loose!
