SWHW Bible Reading Plan: June 2021

DAY 11 OF 22

Top Takeaway from Joni Stepp:

What was the focus of the Apostle Paul at the end of the book of Acts?

  • Praying for those in need.
  • Testifying of the Kingdom of God.
  • Teaching about Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets.
  • Proclaiming the Good News with boldness.
  • Welcoming all who came to him.

Paul was living in his end days, and he was living them with boldness for the One thing that matters most: the gospel. He lived a life of bold faithfulness, no matter what life threw at him.

Beatings, prison, shipwrecks, nothing deterred his faith. He knew the risen Christ had redeemed his life and he wanted everyone else he came in contact with to encounter Him as well.

As the book of Acts closes in our readings, I pray that it lights a fire in your soul not to live in fear of the world but in courageous boldness for the Kingdom of God.

Lord, let the book of Acts light a fire in our own souls to act on what we know is true and what we know changed our lives and can change the lives of those around us. We pray for boldness.  We pray for courage.  We pray for Your wisdom and grace.  Amen.

About this Plan

SWHW Bible Reading Plan: June 2021

Using God's Word as the foundation for our conversation, every devotional is written by women in the trenches of faith, family and work; aiming to live for the glory of God and the good of others. There are enough devotions included for a typical 5-day work schedule. We recommend plugging into your local church for the remaining two days of each week.
