Motherhood

DAY 2 OF 3

The mother’s Bible translation

Four pastors are discussing the advantages of various Bible translations.

One likes the King James translation for its simplicity and beautiful English.

Another one likes the American Standard version because it is more literal and closer to the original Hebrew and Greek.

The third one likes Moffat's translation because of its most recent vocabulary.

The fourth pastor is silent. When asked to express his opinion, he says, “I prefer my mother's translation.”

The other three people who heard it are shocked. "Yes," he answers. “My mother translates the Bible into everyday life, and it is the most convincing translation I have ever seen.”

mother's heart is a child's learning space.

(Henry Ward Beecher)

Proverbs 31:28

"Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:”

Reflection:

Your story is a story that your children will often tell. They will be proud to tell the story. They will tell you how you teach them the truth of God's word. This means that you indirectly give birth to Christ’s witnesses in your generation. Isn't that great?

About this Plan

Motherhood

One of the most important tasks of a mother is to nurture and raise her children. A mother's love, which is always available and shared with children, will make children feel safe and loved by their parents. This reflection will strengthen mothers to fulfill their calling- in order to see that their children grow in love, in knowledge, and in respect for the Lord.
