Walk Through The Bible 365 - JuneSample
By What Gospel Are You Saved?
Some Christians believe Jesus died on the Cross for their sins and they will be saved. They weaken the concept of repentance, neglect the sanctification salvation and reach out to the Lost. The book of Matthew says "Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is come near." In the Book of Luke and Acts, the words for "Repent" or "Repentance" are used 25 times, and in the Book of Revelation, 12 times. In order to be saved, sinners need to repent and work out their salvation to be whole, to be like Christ. The Gospel is for the lost souls. We are saved so that we can be His witnesses for the Lost. What about you?
Prayer: Jesus Lord, thank you for your sacrifice for our sins. We repent for our sins where we still do not please you. We pray by the power of Holy Spirit that You continue to sanctify us. Pour out your Spirit, fan our soul in Your flame to love the Lost. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
