PRAY4JAPAN - 17 Day Prayer Guide for Japan

DAY 15 OF 17

Men

Many early Japanese Christian converts were from the Samurai warrior class. Something about following Christ resonated in the Japanese male spirit. However, nowadays, less than 1 in 1,000 Japanese men attend church.

Let's agree for a renaissance of spiritual warriors: Japanese men who follow Christ as Master and come together in community to support and disciple one another.

WORSHIP - Lord, Your throne is established in heaven.

The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19 (HCSB)

Lord, You have established Your throne in heaven, and Your kingdom rules overall!

DECLARE - May God's eternal purpose for the church be manifest in Japan.

...so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. Ephesians 3:10 (NASB1995)

Father, we declare that Your intent is that now, through the church of Japan, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.

PRAY -  God, please show believers where they truly live and dwell.

God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 (NIV)

Lord, thank You for Your great love for Japanese believers. Show them that You made them alive with Christ and have raised them up and seated them with Him in the heavenly realms!

About this Plan

PRAY4JAPAN - 17 Day Prayer Guide for Japan

Japan is the world’s second largest unreached people group even after decades of dedicated evangelism and church presence. In this highly sophisticated society most Japanese see Christianity as nice but irrelevant. Church attendance hovers around 0.3%. Let’s agree with the Word of God as we worship, declare and pray for breakthrough in this beautiful nation.
