Now Streaming Week 5: Stranger ThingsSample

We despise discipline so much that we have to be commanded not to (see Proverbs 3:11-12). Nobody loves pain in the moment, but thankfully God always has a purpose when He allows it in our lives. After all, God loves us too much to allow us to do whatever we want. Because He loves us, He gently guides, corrects, and sometimes disciplines us so we stay on track and in right relationship with Him. The next time you feel God's hand of discipline, let it be a reminder that He loves you and is trying to guide you toward what's best for you.
