But What Did God Say? Sample

Thoughts become words, words become beliefs, and beliefs then become actions. Everything starts with a thought. If the enemy can gain control over your thought life, he can hold you captive with his lies. Therefore, it’s imperative to know the word of God. When the enemy comes in with his lies and accusations, God’s word will empower you with the knowledge to fight back, cast down the lies, and command that they come into obedience with Christ. As a believer, you have the power and authority to make a demand on heaven. Your thoughts and circumstances will have no choice, but to fall in line and meet your demands. It may not happen immediately but keep taking things captive; eventually, things have to conform to the word of God.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus! Your word says that Jesus came to set the captives free. Many are being held captive by the lies of the enemy, but his time has run out. Let every single plot, plan, ploy, scheme, and devise of the enemy to control my thoughts and feelings be canceled now.
In Jesus name, Amen
Think it Over
What are you thinking? What are you believing? What voices are you listening to? If you have areas of struggle where the enemy may have you bound by lies, receive God’s truth. Jesus came to set you free. Meditate on this scripture and walk out your freedom.
