God is the only One who can close the loop of your pain. Meaning, He is the only One who hasn't betrayed, left, or forgotten about you. With God, you don't have to wonder how He feels about you because His Word provides us with those answers. God doesn't put us in the corner, give us the silent treatment, or refuse to reconcile. 

When I read scriptures like Psalm 68:5, "A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, is God in His holy dwelling," it's like balm to my soul. 

How can one verse of Scripture carry so much weight? Because God knows the weight our soul carries. The pain of feeling left out or forgotten. He's kind to remind us in His Word how He forgets no one. 

The fatherless need a father; God is there. 

The widows need a defender; God is there.

May we take time to read the words on these pages. May we take care to hold them close to our hearts and not allow them to become defiled by the world. 

Don't rush through what God has to say about His nature and character because you were made in His image and likeness. No matter what the world has dealt you, God says, "I'm near and I am here."

Father, the way You love me is hard to comprehend. Show me how to live out Your love in my day-to-day life. Show me how to receive the love You have for me above anything and anyone else. I wouldn't be who I am without You. I love You, Amen!
