Public speaking. Just hearing these words might send shivers down your spine. If it does, no worries, you are in good company. One of the most common phobias is public speaking, more than clowns, or spiders, or even heights. Maybe this is you, and you are scared of public speaking! Here is the challenge. Did you know if you believe and follow Jesus you are meant to preach and speak about his love? Now, before you start to panic, Jesus didn’t mean this was meant for some special person with awesome speaking skills. 

The word, "preach" can simply mean to speak or share openly. In other words, be willing to pass on Jesus' love to unexpected people. It could be your friend in the lunch line or your teammate at practice. You don’t have to be a pastor or a public speaker to preach. If you’re still a little scared, know this: when you are willing to share, God promises to give you the words to speak.
