Now Streaming Week 9: The ChosenSample

Peter, James, and John experienced a scene so breathtaking that even Peter didn't know what to say—and that's saying a lot. These three disciples saw Jesus in His glory: "The appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening" (Luke 9:29). When Peter came to and spoke up, God told him to be quiet and commanded the disciples to listen to Jesus, His Son, His Chosen One (see v. 35, ESV). Let their experience serve as a reminder to us all: since Jesus is the Chosen One, listen to Him. Don't rush into saying things or get caught up in your thoughts or your plan for the day. Take in this moment. God is with you, so wherever you are is holy ground.
