Where Are the Encouragers?
- Encouragement is so needed in the body of Christ that the ability to encourage others is listed as one of the spiritual gifts in the apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans (Romans 12:8).
- The New Testament letter to the Hebrews tells us that we are all called to encourage each other and to spur one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24–25).
- God will help you to be an encourager in the name of Jesus, even through the simple act of calling someone to tell them that you are thinking about them and praying for them.
