Fear / Less Sample

You can be fearless in the midst of the storm. 

It is possible for us to go through a storm and not be ruled and gripped by fear. In the story of Jesus with his disciples in the boat, the sea represents a great unknown. It is a place that cannot be tamed, with monsters and all kinds of things beyond the control of humanity. The sea is a place of fear. When the storm emerged in the sea, there was a great sense of a lack of control. 

There are all kinds of things that happen in life that are way outside the control of humanity. Even in circumstances like that, Jesus tells us that we can have faith and know freedom from fear. God promises us that He will never leave us or forsake us. So we can say with confidence that “the Lord is my helper and I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
