Legos
One of the favorite things my sons like to do is play with Legos. It is amazing what they come up with when they follow the directions of a Lego set. They really liked the ones that make a car, airplane, truck, Star Wars ship, etc. I am always amazed how meticulous one of my sons is when he starts the building phase. He lays everything out in a specific area so he knows exactly what he has in front of him, and to make sure he is not missing anything. He has learned if he lays everything out at first, it is easier for him to build his project. Even at a young age he was okay looking at the directions because he learned from past experiences. If he didn’t follow the directions, his truck would be a complete mess.
As you read through Proverbs 9 today, I want you to think about how you are building Godly wisdom in your life right now. How would you define wisdom, and what do you think are the things God is asking you to build into your life right now? If you were to receive a Godly wisdom Lego set, what would it look like?
- Would you build it with honesty?
- Would you build it with humility?
- Would you build it with joy?
Write down 7 attributes of wisdom you want your life to have as a foundation.
