"Reset My _______"Sample

Reset My Eyes
We don’t often see people the way Jesus sees people. We judge based off appearance—he’s smelly, she’s ugly, he’s diseased. What we see causes us to react. But Jesus doesn’t see like that.
Jesus called all kinds of people to Himself. He sees beyond outward appearance into the heart. He calls us wedding guests (Luke 5:34). Whoever you are, Jesus welcomes you to come to Him. He sees you and loves you.
When a religious leader asks Jesus why He hung out with “sinners” (thieves and people who hated religion), He says, “I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance” (5:32).
Jesus sees our heart and knows that we’re all sinners. But His message of forgiveness is for everyone who knows they have need. The religious leaders thought they were good. But for everyone who came to Jesus when He called, they found forgiveness.
Today hear Jesus’ invitation to come to Him, whoever you are. And ask Jesus to reset your eyes to see people like He does.
