Living an Ordinary Week: Seeing God in SimplicitySample

For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise. (Psalm 96:4a NIV)
“In the beginning God...”
Those four words start the story. All good things begin with God. It makes sense then to begin each week with worship. We all prefer good weeks to bad weeks. The real difference between a good week and a bad week is our attitude. And our attitude, which should be like that of Christ Jesus, is directly connected to our perspective, thus we need to shape our perspective with worship. The words of King David as found in 1 Chronicles and repeated in Psalm 96 encourage God’s people to “Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.”
God is worthy of worship. Spend time today worshiping the One who makes all good things.
Question: What ways of worship “speak” to you most?

About this Plan

Living a good life is not simple. The ease of doing so is challenged by mundane things such as—busyness, fatigue, lack of focus, forgetfulness. Pastor Mark T. Goodman advocates for appreciating the less-than-extraordinary aspects of life. The simple life includes extraordinary events and less-than-ordinary experiences; yet, ordinary things fill up most of our days. Mark invites you to give The Ordinary Way a try.
